Michael Power received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University and graduated from Chattahoochee High School in 2001.
After graduating from Georgia State University, Michael moved to Smyrna in 2006. While living in Smyrna, he met Jessica, and in 2010, they were married in Athens, GA. Michael and Jessica started their family here in Smyrna and now have four children: Finley, Crawford, Pacey Kate, and Hunter. Finley, Crawford, and Pacey Kate attend King Springs Elementary School, with Hunter joining the PRIDE in a few years.
Being active in the community is important to Michael. He volunteers as a youth soccer and baseball coach, is on the West Smyrna Swim and Tennis Club Board, serves on the KSE Foundation Board, and joined a group of dads to launch the KSE Dad’s Club in the spring of 2022. At KSE, he helps coordinate campus clean-up events throughout the year and helps with fundraising activities that support KSE. Before his involvement in Smyrna, he served as President of the Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation and Treasurer for Keep Cobb Beautiful.
Michael is the Senior Director of State Affairs for the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association.
